“BULLETMODE” is my second short film as a solo animator, created as a personal passion project. The process began with composing the music. The song served as the spine of the short, as it inspired an entire success-story sequence. This film challenged me to craft a cohesive and compelling story without any dialogue. Set in a world where colors drive the storytelling, every visual element was carefully designed to merge seamlessly, creating an immersive and surreal atmosphere. The characters and backgrounds were deliberately designed to evoke a sense of otherworldliness, highlighting the world's unique personality.

At its core, "BULLETMODE" symbolizes the tireless work ethic of the average animator. The minimalist character design allows for more emotive characters portraying the power of “less is more.” This approach emphasizes simplicity and ensures the creation of iconic and visually striking characters that resonate with audiences. I aimed to craft a complete, well-rounded story in under two minutes. The plan was to prioritize pacing, posing, perspective and placement to properly portray the plot. Without words, I used composition and emotional acting to paint a picture of pain and passion. I aimed to animate a performance that perfectly portrays the protagonist's personality without plainly pointing it out. More than a portfolio piece, this was a personal passion project and I am proud of every part from the pre-planning phase to the post-production polishing.
